Who are the Palm Coast/Flagler Friends of
Tennis?
We are a not-for-profit organization organized
under the laws of the State of Florida and
approved by the IRS as a Section 501(c)(3)
charitable organization, contributions to which
are deductible on your income tax. We are
qualified to receive tax deductible bequests,
transfers and gifts. We are a membership organization of more
than 200 members committed to promoting and
supporting tennis activities throughout our
area, as more specifically stated in our
mission.
Our Mission
As residents of the Palm Coast/Flagler area we
seek to continue our rich and proud history of
community based tennis, to increase and enhance
participation in the sport and to champion
tennis as a lifetime leisure activity. We
intend to achieve this mission by:
•
sponsoring men's and women's league play and youth teams;
•
developing clinics and academies for group and individual lessons,
at a reasonable fee;
•
providing a site for introductory clinics for residents desiring
to take up the sport;
•
encouraging all residents, regardless of skill level and age, to
play tennis at a reasonable fee;
•
establishing a host site for the Friends of Tennis;
•
securing a host site for USTA sanctioned tournaments;
•
instituting a host site for annual city & county wide championship
at all levels;
•
seeking grants for the advancement of tennis in our area
