Volunteers Are Needed!

Flagler County Youth Center - Volunteers from Friends of Tennis spent their Tuesday mornings from 9 to 10:30 providing tennis opportunities for 16 Middle School children and their counselors at the Flagler County Youth Center on Route 100.   Frank Acierno, a FPCHS graduate and tennis team anchor, provided guidance for the volunteers and participants.

On August 4, the volunteers organized a series of skill contests with a party and prizes afterward.  Any student who had perfect attendance for the 8 sessions was awarded a new Wilson tennis racquet.
35 Volunteer Hours were spent by 9 Friends of Tennis volunteers this summer.  Devin Johnson, a senior at FPCHS earned Community Service credit for his volunteer time.
